Residential Projects in Perth

Inglewood

This property is located in Dundas Rd, Inglewood. We were asked to complete various renovations throughout the property. As illustrated in the images, the entire front of the building including the garden was transformed to create a more modern look with heritage characteristics in mind.

Kitchen Renovation

Henlyn cleared the original kitchen and refitted it with new cupboards, shelves and draws with the assistance of Unison Kitchens.

Scarborough

For this property our task was to create a carport at the front of the house. Due to the owner subdividing the block, council requested that the front property had its own carport. We also need to create fencing that was stylish but still allowed adequate privacy.

North Perth

Located in North Perth, our job is to create 2 two-story townhouses on this primary block of land located near Beatty Park Leisure Centre. This job began with Henlyn Constructions demolishing the original residence to clear the land and make way for the new townhouses.

One of the specifications of town house 1 is that there is an underground wine cellar. Henlyn has chosen to construct these townhouses with a high standard of external and internal specification. Theses townhouses will be very distinctive in their style with timber floors throughout, raised ceiling and granite bench tops.

Mt Lawley

Based in Mt Lawley, our task was to create a free standing garage/games room to the rear of the existing residence utilising the laneway access at the rear of the land. Due to Mt Lawley's heritage style of housing we endeavoured to finish the work fitting to the style of the neighbourhood and the existing property. To build this addition we used quality materials such as double brick walls, timber frame roof structure with terracotta tiles.

Swanbourne

There were several jobs to complete at this property. Our first was to supply and install a pizza oven to the outdoor area at the rear of the residence. The chosen pizza oven weighed 500kgs and had to be lifted in with a crane. The new pizza oven then needed to be fitted and finished to match the rest of the house.

The second task was to create a day bed over the existing pool cover. The day bed needed to be practical and yet stylish in keeping with the house. Built using jarrah and with small hinged doors for access to the pool cover, the day bed was also fitted with deck lights along the back panel to allow for additional lighting.

Wembley Downs

Utilising a modern design but without altering the look of the area and maintaining its street appeal, this property was a challenging renovation to complete. Combining client's specifications and Henlyn Construction's knowledge we were able to renovate the property through a series of testing structural alterations. Our task was to rebuild the eastern wall of the house to allow for driveway access to the rear property. We then built the carport and 'floating' porch over the front entrance to the house. The 'floating' porch allows for good natural light and clear views through the large glass doors and out onto the front yard and street. As illustrated, the final product is simple yet modern and still manages to appeal to the ever growing housing industry in Western Australia.
